H.L. "The great nothing" is everything else than nothing! It is bombastic, symphonic, rousing melodic death metal with catchy songwriting. Reminding me at Amiensus sometimes the switch between rough and clean vocals is adding a thrilling dynamic to the album. "Shade of a lowering Star" is a kind of epic climax of the first half of the album, while the second half ends with the massive title track, performed in three acts. Favorite track: Shade of a Lowering Star.
